I’m Kathy Young Barker
NLP Trainer, Communication Coach and International Speaker.
I help professionals, leaders and teams communicate with greater impact, build stronger relationships and perform more effectively in high-stakes environments.
My work combines Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), communication, emotional intelligence and behavioural psychology to help people communicate with clarity, confidence and influence.
My approach is practical, experiential and results-oriented, providing tools that participants can immediately apply in their professional conversations, presentations and stakeholder relationships.

From an early age, I have been fascinated by people: how we think, communicate, build relationships and create change.
My professional journey has taken me through international environments, including collaborations with NGOs, multinational teams and organisations such as the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
Over the years, I discovered that the greatest opportunities for growth and impact often emerge through communication: the ability to build trust, influence with integrity and create meaningful connections.
I later trained with Frank Pucelik, Co-Creator of NLP, deepening my expertise in communication, behavioural psychology, emotional intelligence and human performance.
Today, I help professionals, leaders and teams strengthen their communication skills, navigate complex conversations and build stronger relationships in high-stakes environments.
My mission is simple:
To help people communicate more effectively, connect more authentically and create greater impact through the way they lead, influence and collaborate.
